Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Stoke

Pay: £12.55-£13.55 per hour, £60 per sleep in

Hours: Full time, part time and weekend only

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Lavoro Care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and young people in our residential care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and care to children and young people in our residential care setting, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
  • Deal with challenging behaviors in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for young people.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with children and young people, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Work proactively to promote the health, wellbeing, and development of children and young people.
  • Provide essential care and nurturing to children and young people, maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Remain person-centered at all times, prioritizing the needs and dignity of children and young people.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience working with children and young people.
  • A full driving license with access to your own vehicle.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
  • A full employment history with any gaps explained.
