Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Inspection Engineer to join our team at TÜV Rheinland. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of civil and structural assets, identifying defects and recommending remedial actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of civil and structural assets in accordance with TÜV Rheinland procedures and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement inspection plans, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Prepare detailed written reports, supported by photographs, to document findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the highest level of expertise.
Requirements:
  • HNC/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience with IT and software, including Microsoft Word and inspection reporting platforms.
