About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Support Engineer to join our team at Staffbase Recruitment. As a CNC Machine Support Engineer, you will provide technical support and advice to customers and engineers to resolve machine breakdowns, assist with machine installations and commissioning, and roll out software updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice to customers and engineers via remote online access, email, and phone.
  • Process incoming spare and replacement parts orders and enquiries from engineers and customers.
  • Investigate and resolve technical and engineering queries over the phone.
  • Maintain and update field service engineer work schedules and plan and coordinate customer visits as necessary.
  • Process engineers' job sheets and update the CRM system.
  • Maintain training records and book training for engineers as and when necessary.
  • Attend occasional machine breakdowns and installations with field service engineers.
Requirements
  • You will be a competent multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias and ideally have previous experience with automated machinery, such as CNC, packaging, and robotics.
  • You will have a HNC or HND qualification in either mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
  • Applicants with good electrical fault find and repair skills are essential, and ideally you will have good PLC controls fault find and repair skills.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work well under your own initiative.
Working Hours and Benefits

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Excellent basic salary £38K-£42K + OT.

Company Car.

33 days annual leave.
