Mac Operator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mac Operator to join our team at Mtadigital Limited, a well-established large and small format digital printer in London. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of production briefs from sales teams and clients, ensuring all specifications are understood and translated into accurate, actionable print files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine supplied files to confirm they are fit for print production, adjusting and preparing large format files to meet specific installation requirements.
  • Create CAD drawings using Adobe Illustrator plugins, based on surveys and images provided by our installation teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and logistics, to optimise workflow, resolve print-related issues, and ensure excellent client satisfaction.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Mac operator role within the print, signage, or large format graphics industry.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Adobe Suite products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Pitstop Pro, with knowledge of Switch workflows and basic networking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
