Job Title: Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our team at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of an EPSRC-funded programme grant in tidal stream energy.

About the Role

The Programme Manager will assume responsibility for the operational management of the grant, working closely with the programme's technical activities and stakeholders. This will involve coordinating with key individuals from partner academic institutions, industry, regulatory bodies, and funding agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the fiscal aspects of the programme, including preparing interim and final reports.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed plans and records.
  • Coordinate communication, web presence, and social media activities.
  • Organize events and meetings with stakeholders.
  • Integrate the programme with existing research projects and develop future research programmes.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level education or equivalent experience in administration or project management in a research environment. They will possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as problem-solving skills to identify solutions to technical, operational, delivery, and financial issues.
