About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plumbing and Heating expert to join our team as a Technical Trainer at The Sheffield College. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and education to our students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver learning programs, including workshops and practical training sessions, to students in the Plumbing and Heating department.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to students, ensuring they meet the required standards and achieve their learning objectives.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of student services, including equipment and facilities, to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.
  • Demonstrate the use of systems and equipment to staff and students, promoting a healthy and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Plumbing/Heating or Construction Related Subject at level 3 or above.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) Qualification.
  • Recent industry knowledge/experience within a construction-related trade or environment.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Practices surrounding Construction Related Areas.
