We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Technical Trainer to join our Plumbing team at The Sheffield College. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a vital role in supporting students and adults in acquiring the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the Plumbing and Heating sector.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert instruction and support to students and others within the Building Technologies department.
- Deliver practical training and demonstrations to students, showcasing your expertise in vocational areas.
- Assist in the design, operation, and maintenance of student services, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
- Demonstrate the use of systems and equipment to staff and students, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Qualifications in Plumbing/Heating or a related subject at level 3 or above.
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) qualification.
- Recent industry knowledge or experience within a construction-related trade or environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices surrounding construction-related areas.
