Job Title: Head of Principal Design

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Principal Design to join our team at Brandon James Ltd. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for leading our Principal Design team and ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Principal Design and CDM regulations, with a proven track record of delivering projects under the Building Safety Act. You will be responsible for setting up and leading the BSA Principal Design team, providing strategic guidance, technical support, and leadership to ensure the effective delivery of Principal Design services across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the BSA Principal Design team and ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical support to ensure the effective delivery of Principal Design services
  • Develop and implement best practices across all projects
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Principal Designers
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
Requirements
  • Strong background in Principal Design and CDM regulations
  • Proven track record of delivering projects under the Building Safety Act
  • Leadership skills and experience in setting up and managing a Principal Design team
  • Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Construction, APS, or equivalent
