Senior Support Worker Role at Jupiter Recruitment

An exceptional care home in Lowestoft, England seeks a committed Senior Support Worker to join their team.

This is a warm and welcoming environment offering residential and dementia care with a comprehensive induction programme and paid training.

To be considered for this position, you must have or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, recognising the importance of ongoing education and development.

About the Role:
  • Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being are met.
  • Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals to support the growth and development of junior staff members.
  • Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers to deliver high-quality care services.
  • Taking an active professional role in promoting services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries, showcasing your excellent communication skills.
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation, maintaining accurate records and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care, reflecting on your own practice to improve outcomes.
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
