Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ledger Accountant to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales ledger, ensuring timely and accurate cash postings. This role will involve bank reconciliation and allocations, processing manual invoices, and liaising with credit controllers to resolve queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales ledger, ensuring timely and accurate cash postings.
  • Reconcile bank statements and allocate cash received.
  • Process manual invoices onto the system.
  • Liaise with credit controllers to resolve queries.
  • Assist the Manager with month-end closing processes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
