We are seeking a skilled Project Lead to support project completion, coordinating activities and stakeholders, scheduling meetings, communicating expectations, and tracking progress to enhance project quality.

This role involves attending customer meetings, managing project timing plans, supporting project variations, attending design reviews, producing project documentation, and ensuring project adherence to safety and environmental accreditation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer meetings with the Project Manager.
  • Action assigned responsibilities agreed at regular internal meetings.
  • Support comprehensive Microsoft Project timing plans.
  • Manage project variations/scope revisions.
  • Attend internal and customer design reviews.
  • Produce, manage, and update project documentation.
  • Ensure responsibilities are carried out using Project Department Processes and standard documentation.
  • Support sub-contract suppliers where required.
  • Attend customer sites for meetings.
  • Attend customer sites during installation, commissioning & buy off stages.
  • Qualifications/Attributes:
  • Good technical knowledge.
  • Positive 'Lead by Example' attitude.
  • Flexible working hours/patterns.
  • Mechanical Engineering HNC qualifications.
  • Electrical Engineering qualifications not essential but useful on certain projects.
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing material handling or conveyance projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well organised.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ambitions to become a Project Manager.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
