Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Care Assessor to join our team at We Do Social Work. As a Social Care Assessor, you will play a vital role in providing information, advice, and assistance to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake 'What Matters' conversations with parents, carers, and children to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Liaise with partner agencies across the statutory, public, and voluntary sectors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the child's situation.
  • Assess care and support needs, and work with families to develop personalized plans to improve their wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with Social Workers to provide information, advice, and assistance to children and families.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.
