Clinical Leadership Expert of Speech Therapy

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced speech therapist to join our team as Clinical Leadership Expert of Speech Therapy at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead the development of the workforce through education and training, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support operational management.

This role offers a competitive salary of £53,755 - £60,504 per annum, pro rata, and the chance to work in a dynamic environment where we are committed to delivering high-quality person-centred care.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of the workforce through developing and delivering education and training.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient management.
  • Support operational management and deputise for the Head of SLT when required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Postgraduate clinical education/training at master's level (or equivalent).
  • Leadership or management training.
  • Significant experience in clinical leadership, training, and developing staff.
