About the Role

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineering Lead to join our Power Grids Market within AtkinsRéalis's Net Zero Energy Business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading substation projects, developing project engineering deliverables, and managing technical requirements from concept to delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the UK's energy transition, delivering secure and sustainable energies that meet industry and lifestyle demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing project engineering deliverables, including coordination and progress.
  2. Leading and managing project engineering teams.
  3. Integration/coordination of engineering activities across multi-discipline design projects.
  4. Management of technical requirements from concept to detail design and delivery, including application of strong change control and risk management.

Requirements:

  • A degree or HNC/HND in a related engineering-based discipline (Preference for electrical bias).
  • Experience of project engineering, planning and delivery, engineering design and working with design teams.
  • Management of multiple stakeholders and a strong quality, safety, security and environmental focus.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations, understanding and identifying project risks.
  • Commercial awareness.
