Cleaning Operative

As a cleaning operative with Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and have a keen eye for detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, as you will be managed remotely.
This role will be physically challenging and involves manual handling activities. However, full training is provided with a first-day induction.
Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will need to have good written and verbal communication skills, as you will be interacting with customers and managers while complying with Health & Safety regulations.

What to ExpectAfter applying, your application will be reviewed, and if successful, you will be invited to a telephone assessment. This call will last around 15-20 minutes and consist of 7 questions. There will not be a face-to-face interview as part of this process.
