About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team on the A38(M) Tame Valley Viaduct project. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the civil engineering aspects of the project, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the civil engineering team to deliver the project scope on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide technical support to the commercial team to optimize project costs and engineering efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in a rail environment.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and commercial management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
