Support Staff Required for Family

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Support Staff Member to provide assistance with the care of our 13-year-old son. This is a permanent role requiring a reliable and trustworthy individual who can help with personal care tasks, daily living tasks, and supervision during activities. If you are passionate about supporting individuals with special needs and have experience working with children or vulnerable adults, we would welcome your application.

Job Description:

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting and bathing
  • Help with daily living tasks such as dressing and undressing
  • Supervise and engage with our teenage boy during activities
  • Facilitate outdoor play and exploration
  • Provide support with meal preparation and domestic duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation preferred due to limited bus routes in the Lofthouse area
