Job Title: Marine Electrical / Electronic Engineer / Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Electrical / Electronic Engineer / Field Service Engineer to join our team at HSB Technical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of marine automation, navigation, and communication equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake service, maintenance, and installation of marine automation, navigation, and communication equipment.
  2. Supervise field service teams, sub-contractors, and shipyard labour to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company QA policies and Health and Safety regulations.
  3. Conduct site surveys and detailed work specifications to ensure accurate planning and execution of tasks.
  4. Ensure accurate lists of tools and materials are created in line with the workload.
  5. Maintain high standards of field service deliverables, including problem-solving and quality of work.
  6. Act as a mentor and trainer to help the development of other colleagues as and when required.
  7. Play a leading role in ensuring that all work carried out is to ISO 9001/2000 standard.
Requirements:
  1. Background with marine electronics, especially bridge navigation, communication, and PA systems.
  2. Preferably HND/HNC Engineering or equivalent experience.
  3. UK Passport Holder.
  4. Full UK Driving Licence.
  5. Ability to travel in and around the Aberdeenshire area.
