Responsibilities

  • Process insurance accounting transactions, including incoming receipts for premiums and loss recoveries, as well as outgoing payments for claims and reinsurance.
  • Run pay cycles and maintain vendor databases.
  • Deal with internal and external queries and upload documents to OnBase.
  • Process journals and perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven accounting experience, ideally within a multinational environment.
  • Good working knowledge of accounts receivable and account payable modules.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and diligent approach to tasks with a keen eye for detail.
  • Collaborative work style and excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable and flexible, able to work as part of a team and deliver on individual objectives.
  • Excellent PC skills and good knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience of PeopleSoft Financials is an advantage.
  • Experience working for an insurance company is desirable but not essential.
