We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEND Support professional to join our team at a Sheffield school specializing in ASC and communication needs.

Job Description:

Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced SEND Support professional to provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEND, including ASC, communication needs, and other learning difficulties
  • Work closely with teachers and other members of the school staff to develop and implement tailored support plans for individual students
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents
  • Help students develop social and communication skills, as well as academic skills
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements:

  • Rlevant qualifications and experience in working with students with SEND, including ASC and communication needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
