About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, learning disabilities, and SEMH needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one support to students throughout the school day, helping them to maintain focus and work towards achieving independence and life skills. You will also be required to communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure that each student receives the best possible support.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to build relationships with students, teachers, and parents. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
