About this role


We are seeking a skilled and creative Activity and Leisure Coordinator to join our team at Chilton Meadows Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities and events for our residents.


Responsibilities



  • Design and implement a variety of activities and events to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
  • Collaborate with care staff to ensure seamless delivery of activities and events
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective planning and execution of activities and events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and external partners to enhance our residents' experiences
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and activity programs to ensure our residents receive the best possible care
  • Support the care team to deliver high-quality care and services to our residents

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Experience working with older adults and/or people with dementia is desirable
