Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver exceptional person-centred care to our residents.
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of our residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with our Area Manager to ensure business objectives and CQC compliance criteria are met, maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders and actively contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Manage commercial aspects of the home, working closely with the Customer Relations Team to maintain optimum occupancy levels through creative marketing strategies and cost control over fees and staffing.
- Submit regular management information reports on occupancy levels, fees, budget controls, and staffing using various systems.
- Work closely with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure the best standards in the home's environment, including food presentation, housekeeping, and care and maintenance of residents' clothing and building.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC.
- Proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning.
- Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading, and motivating others.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate.
- Passionate, driven, confident, and resilient leader.
- Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
- Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care.
What We Offer:
- Excellent salary of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
- 30 days holiday (FTE) with the ability to increase up to 35 days per year based on service.
