Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Expleo Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative hardware solutions for the automotive industry.

Your primary focus will be on mechanical design, electronics enclosures, and EMC. You will work closely with our team to implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, ensuring validation of tolerances, form, fit, function, shock, and vibration, as well as electromagnetic interference, safety, and reliability.

You will also be responsible for collaborating with management, internal, and outsourced development partners to discuss design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Additionally, you will plan and deliver technical documents, sample development, and BOM release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design engineering solutions for mechanical, electronics enclosures, and EMC
  • Implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs
  • Collaborate with management and development partners
  • Plan and deliver technical documents and sample development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
  • Typically 4-6 years of experience
  • UK Driver's license is essential
  • Awareness of CAD 2D drawing and 3D model format
  • Understanding of reading electronic schematic diagrams and components
  • Awareness of development verification and production validation testing process
  • Awareness of FMEA and 8D processes
  • Good IT/PC soft skills
