Job Opportunity: Specialist Study Skills and Strategy Support Tutor

We are recruiting a highly skilled Study Skills and Strategy Support Tutor to work with Higher Education students at Beacon Support.

Key Details:

  • Type: Part-time, Zero hours contract
  • Hourly Rate: £30.00 per hour
  • Location: In person

About the Role:

This is a specialist role requiring tutors to work with students who have specific learning differences (SpLDs), including dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and ASC. You will develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and act as facilitators to help students improve their study skills and become independent learners.

Your Expertise:

  • Experience in working with individuals with SpLDs, preferably in higher or further education
  • Educated to degree level
  • Welsh speaking desirable

Membership Requirements:

This is a specialist role, so you must hold a professional membership with one of the following bodies: PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE, or Dyslexia Guild.
