Job Summary

As an Engagement Specialist at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering tailored sessions to support the development of life skills, community relationships, health and wellbeing, communication, and employability in a group of learners with complex learning and sensory needs. Your role will involve adapting to individual students' barriers to learning, such as communication, cognition, sensory (vision & hearing) and physical challenges. You will work closely with the team to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Learning Facilitator. You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our learners. Your expertise in adapting curricula and assessment strategies to meet the needs of students with complex learning and sensory requirements will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-quality, bespoke sessions to support the development of life skills, community relationships, health and wellbeing, communication, and employability in a group of learners with complex learning and sensory needs.
  2. Adapt to individual students' barriers to learning, such as communication, cognition, sensory (vision & hearing) and physical challenges.
