At DAZN, we're seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help us drive commercial advertising performance. As a key member of our advertising division, you'll be responsible for managing and analyzing data relevant to our advertising efforts, including impressions, revenue systems, viewership, and audience behavior.

You'll work closely with our data and technology teams to define requirements and deliverables, deriving meaningful insights to inform our advertising strategies. Your expertise will be essential in helping us understand the differences in broadcast and advertising practices across our global markets, enabling you to tailor data-driven suggestions accordingly.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Exploring all data relevant to commercial advertising performance, including impressions, revenue, viewership, and audience behavior.
  • Monitoring and owning data quality of our internal CRM (Dynamics 365) and inventory management systems.
  • Delivering and sharing reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis, manipulating data across various and changing metrics and dimensions.
  • Building dashboards to support the analysis and reporting of data on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Managing data-dependent projects and new processes, from capturing requirements, design, and implementation – in the name of improving data quality.
  • Exploring new initiatives in relation to maximizing advertising revenue opportunities through data evaluation, including audience enrichment, new ad concepts, and current delivery refinements.

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in evaluating big data and familiarity with statistical data analysis and visualization tools such as Looker/PowerBi.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Efficient time-management, task prioritization, and strong communication skills – ability to communicate and translate information into actions to senior management.
  • Excellent skills in data querying using SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python.
  • Experience in data modeling, particularly focused on revenue models (dbt, Snowflake).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
  • Additional Language skills (Italian, German, French, Spanish, Japanese).
