Job Summary:
Kingscroft Professional Resources is seeking a highly skilled and organized Production Buyer to join our team. As a Production Buyer, you will play a key role in driving supplier performance and efficiency into production through order management, scheduling, and stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between departments, ensuring the timely completion of production orders.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure optimal material and stock levels.
- Collaborate with production planning, management, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule production activities.
- Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are available when needed.
- Procure and order stock and materials, ensuring compliance with pre-negotiated contracts.
- Manage supplier data to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production or supply chain role, with a strong understanding of production planning and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
