Acute Mental Health Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Ward Manager to join our team in Stockport. This is a Band 6 position that requires effective communication skills, a willingness to challenge, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the care we provide.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs of care for clients admitted on the ward. They will supervise junior staff, ensuring the highest possible standard of nursing care, and deputize for the ward manager as needed.
This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including training in leadership, mentorship, and trust-wide training programs.
Key Requirements- First-level registration as an RMN/RNMH
- Experience working in mental health settings
- Ability to work across a 24-hour shift pattern on a rotational basis
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £43,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
