Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Hamilton Specialist Referrals in High Wycombe. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our specialists, interns, and nurses in delivering gold-standard treatment.

The successful candidate will have experience handling small animals, either professionally or personally, and be willing to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Full training will be provided to ensure a seamless transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily care of equipment and machinery
  • Running laboratory samples
  • Theatre cleaning and closing down
  • Patient handling and restraint
  • Providing general care to all patients
  • General cleaning within the clinical areas as needed

Working Pattern
This role is full-time, covering 40 hours per week on a rota basis. The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends, for which time back in lieu is given.
