Job DescriptionThe Production Shift Manager will work a mix of 12-hour days and nights to coach and develop a team of approximately 10-15 people. Key responsibilities include:
- Operational Excellence: Track and take responsibility for the day-to-day operational departmental performance, ensuring full compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Production Planning: Ensure all operational responsibilities are adhered to and that the planned production schedule is achieved in full.
- Performance Monitoring: Accurately capture and record operational performance results on an hour-to-hour/day-to-day basis and drive continuous improvement processes to drive efficiencies.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure quality and health & safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Training and Development: Provide regular training to the team and wider business.
The successful Production Shift Manager will work a 12-hour day and night shift and will have:
- A background in FMCG/food manufacturing.
- Strong management experience, specifically experience coaching and developing staff to be more efficient and optimize processes.
The successful candidate will be paid a competitive salary and work for a dynamic and progressive FMCG manufacturer.
