Excellent Opportunity for a Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Christchurch. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance of commercial catering equipment, with experience in repair and service.

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary package.

The salary for this role starts at £30,000 per annum, which is negotiable based on experience.

We are a 60-year-old family-run business that has established itself as an industry leader in the supply and maintenance of commercial laundry and catering equipment. Our extensive experience and well-established reputation make us the go-to choice for clients across Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire.

We pride ourselves on providing top-level service and maintenance to our clients, resulting in a very low staff turnover rate.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Service and maintenance of commercial catering equipment
  2. High-level repair and service of equipment, including Combi Ovens, Dishwashers, Fryers, Chargrills, etc.
  3. On-call duties, working one week in four
  4. A proactive can-do attitude, with excellent attention to detail

Key Requirements:

  1. Previous work experience within the construction sector
  2. Possession of a full UK driving license
  3. CCCN1
  4. COMCAT 1, 2, 3, 5
  5. Electrically Competent
  6. Full UK Driving License
  7. LPG (desirable)
