About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment, including generators, power tools, saws, disc cutters, and other diesel, petrol, and electrical machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and modify a range of mechanical and electrical tools
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Manage administration tasks and maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Provide excellent customer service standards and work alongside an experienced team
  • Occasionally attend on-site breakdowns and perform PAT testing and PDI inspections

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in positions such as Workshop Engineer, PDI Engineer, PAT Tester, or Mechanical Fitter
  • Familiarity with equipment like Makita, Stihl, Hilti, or Bosch
  • A Valid UK Driving License is required
