We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for operating manual lathes and mills to produce and repair precision parts for various mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual lathes and mills to produce and repair precision parts for blowers, pumps, ancillaries, compressors, vacuum systems, and similar in the workshop.
  • Perform accurate centre lathe turning for component manufacturing and repair.
  • Use metrology equipment to ensure precise measurement and compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct repairs, maintenance, and installations on mechanical systems, including blower and vacuum pump systems.
  • Participate in training for additional skills, such as thermal spraying and welding, to expand expertise.

Requirements:

  • Experience with manual lathes, manual machine tools, mechanical assemblies, and metrology equipment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and set up machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
