Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery: Take overall responsibility for the assessment and support services, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
  • Assessment and Support: Oversee specific assessments, including reading of court papers, planning and reviewing the assessment, supporting keyworkers to compile reports, and supporting keyworkers in giving evidence at Court.
  • Staff Meetings and Development: Attend and support weekly staff meetings, facilitate and guide family work discussions and case analysis, and contribute to the development of the service.

About You:

  • Qualifications and Experience: Qualified social worker with experience in supporting families where there have been issues of child abuse/neglect.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, support, and manage a team, with high-level time management and organisational skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain level-headed in a pressurised environment.
