Infrastructure Development Specialist

About the Job: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in the success of our Infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe working environment and manage subcontract works packages, ensuring compliance with the contract and minimizing risks.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement effective subcontract management strategies.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, prices, and programs with subcontractors.
- Issue commercial notices to clients and subcontractors as required by the contract.
- Manage change in accordance with the contract, including compensation event quotations.
- Submit and agree monthly applications to clients.
- Maintain site records, collaborating with operational and engineering staff.
- Produce detailed monthly reports and cost value reconciliations (CVR).
- Foster a culture of transparency and open communication within the commercial team.
About You:
- A strong understanding of standard forms of contract.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Location: This role is based in Norfolk, United Kingdom, with opportunities for remote work.
Salary Information: The estimated salary range for this position is £65,000-£70,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the role and the need for a highly skilled professional.
