Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team in the Endoscopy Department at Gartnavel General Hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with a highly skilled and motivated team delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopic procedures.
The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of Endoscopy, General Surgery, and Gastroenterology. However, training will be provided to ensure they excel in this role. As a Registered Nurse with the NMC, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns or issues promptly
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse
- Some knowledge of Endoscopy, General Surgery, and Gastroenterology (training will be provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care
We offer a competitive salary package including a basic salary of £34,894 per annum, plus additional benefits such as: pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
