Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Support Specialist to join our team at Roke. As an HR Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our busy HR team by maintaining accurate records, providing administrative support for HR processes, and performing ad-hoc data reporting from HR IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support HR processes, including annual promotions, induction checklists, and exit interviews, ensuring all relevant actions are completed.
  • Provide support to HR projects, including scheduling meetings, recording notes, and facilitating actions.
  • Monitor HR-owned mailboxes and respond to emails promptly or escalate to the appropriate colleague.
  • Maintain accurate records in HR IT systems and produce informative reports and data.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as raising purchase orders and preparing paperwork for employee relation cases using templates.
  • Comply with Roke's policies and procedures at all times.
  • Undertake any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department consistent with the nature of the post.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient IT skills, including the ability to learn new systems, create reports, and present data.
  • High attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
