About the Role

Aubay UK is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Expert to join our team in London. As a key member of our Information and Digital Engineering department, you will play a vital role in developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize costs, improve quality, and diversify suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective strategies.
  • Analyze supplier costs, market trends, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic sourcing decisions and actions.
  • Report on the tangible outcomes and value generated from sourcing initiatives.
  • Assess and mitigate risks, including supplier disruptions, delivery quality issues, and compliance concerns.
  • Manage a complex network of senior stakeholders, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve defined business goals.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a consultancy.
  • Understanding of end-to-end IT procurement processes - bid preparation, tender management, pre-sales.
  • Experience with RFI/RFP/RFQs.
  • Key stakeholder management.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills up to senior management level, to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of Senior Stakeholders across the organization.
  • Self-starter and quick to understand a team's dynamic.
  • Ability to perform in a complex high-tech corporate and multi-cultural environment.
