About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Hygiene Technician to join our team in the North East of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about water safety and compliance to play a critical role in maintaining high standards across a variety of environments, including commercial buildings and healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular water sampling, temperature monitoring, and Legionella testing to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves to maintain safe water temperatures.
  • Carry out remedial tasks, including cleaning, descaling, and system disinfections, to ensure water quality is maintained.
  • Assist with the chlorination of water systems, such as storage tanks and pipework, to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to meet L8 regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with clients to discuss findings, provide recommendations, and implement solutions, ensuring top-notch customer service.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of testing, inspections, and remedial work, in line with health and safety standards.
