Salary : £32,000 per annum + Company Vehicle

About the Role
I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a leading provider of water hygiene services, for a Water Hygiene Supervisor in the Newcastle area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a solid background in water hygiene and legionella control to take on a leadership role. You will be responsible for overseeing essential water hygiene services and managing a team to ensure compliance with legionella prevention and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and that all water hygiene and legionella control tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Oversee key water hygiene services, including temperature monitoring, showerhead disinfection, water tank cleaning, and TMV maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and legionella control protocols.
- Lead and support a team of engineers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely across multiple sites.
- Provide ongoing training and development to team members, ensuring they stay updated on the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct audits to ensure all work meets the required compliance standards, including HTM0401 and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of water hygiene activities, including legionella risk assessments, temperature checks, and tank cleans.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in water hygiene services, with a solid understanding of legionella control and HTM0401 regulations.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing a team to deliver high-quality service.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build relationships and address client needs effectively.
- Technical knowledge of water hygiene systems, including TMV maintenance, showerhead disinfection, and temperature monitoring.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple contracts and priorities.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential for site travel.
