About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Eden Brown. As a key member of our MEP services team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering electrical design projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate MEP services items with external design teams, including General Contractors, Architects, and Structural Engineers.
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Liaise with internal departments, such as estimating and BIM, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Present information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, communicating necessary changes to stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company structure and business streams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Services Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Previous design experience in commercial building projects, including new builds, shell and core, major refurbishments, and CAT A/B fit-outs.
  • Experience delivering design work from RIBA Stage 2 to 4.
  • Awareness of design deliverables required at each stage, in accordance with BSRIA BG6.
  • Proficiency in using Bluebeam Revu software or similar digital marking up tools for MEP services engineering.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and environmental accreditation schemes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Will to acquire new skills and techniques, with a proactive approach to work.
