Job Title: Wildcat Role Equipment Operative

Morson Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled Wildcat Role Equipment Operative to join our prestigious Aerospace client based in Yeovilton.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to conduct inspections, maintenance, and documentation on Wildcat AH and HMA RE, Task Essential Equipment (TEE), and Helicopter Underslung Load Equipment (HUSLE) for Wildcat Aircraft.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Wildcat RE Supervisor in delivering equipment configuration control, support, training, and maintenance, servicing, and defect rectification functions.
  • Conduct maintenance, preservation, anti-deterioration maintenance, servicing, and defect rectification activities on Wildcat RE and TEE holdings.
  • Supply, issue, control, and accept returns of all Modifications kits and Role Equipment to the Wildcat Fleet as directed.
  • Assist with GOLDesp data creation as required IAW JAP(D)100A-0409-1&2.
  • Assist the WMS Wildcat RE Supervisor to maintain compliance with accounting transaction principles and regulations.
  • Assist with the management of repairable assets through workshops/supply chain.
  • Maintain a full driving license, including category D1 and E, with the necessary classifications required for towing a trailer, and hold a valid Airfield Driving Permit.
Requirements
  • Educated to a minimum of BTEC level 2 in an aviation-related subject or have completed a recognized aircraft engineering training followed by relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of helicopter maintenance operations, supply chain, and technical support processes, including practical experience of forward operational support.
  • An understanding of the military helicopter operating environment and command structure, and of deployment and operational planning.
  • Self-motivated and work within teams.
