Job Description

Job Title: WMS Wildcat Role Equipment Operative

Job Summary:

Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Role Equipment Operative to join our team at RNAS Yeovilton. As a key member of our Wildcat Base Maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on the Wildcat fleet of helicopters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 300 hourly zonal maintenance on the Wildcat fleet, including stripping, cleaning, inspecting, and rectifying aircraft components.
  • Work within a MAOS Part 145 framework, ensuring airworthiness and health and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Wildcat RE Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor to deliver equipment configuration control, support, training, and maintenance functions.
  • Assist with GOLDesp data creation, accounting transaction principles, and regulations.
  • Manage repairable assets through workshops and supply chains.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the WMS Wildcat RE Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum BTEC level 2 in an aviation-related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of helicopter maintenance operations, supply chain, and technical support processes.
  • Practical experience of forward operational support.
  • Self-motivated and able to work within teams.
