We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Services Team at Kent Police and Essex Police IT Services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with a focus on security and voice technologies. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our extensive network infrastructure, which spans over 100 police buildings across two counties.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an enterprise environment, with a strong understanding of Cisco products and other network topologies. They will also have the ability to support and develop network infrastructure, with a current Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate being a plus.

The role will involve working closely with the team to ensure the network is resilient, scalable, and highly available. The successful candidate will also be required to join the on-call 24/7 rota and will have the opportunity to work from home with flexibility in terms of place of work.
