Senior Network Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Services Team at Kent Police and Essex Police IT Services.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise networking, with a strong background in Cisco products and other network topologies. They will be responsible for supporting and developing our network infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our policing colleagues and the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support critical services such as 999 control rooms.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement network security and IP voice solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of our network services.
  • Participate in the on-call 24/7 rota, providing support and assistance as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in network engineering, with a strong background in Cisco products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of team ethos and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
