This is an opportunity to join our team as a Support Worker for an 18-year-old autistic teenager with profound learning difficulties and non-verbal communication.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to my son in various settings, including his home, local community, and during leisure activities.

Main Duties

  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and daily living tasks.
  • Support my son during overnight shifts, which may involve sleeping or staying awake due to his night-time epilepsy.
  • Accompany him to engage in leisure activities such as walks, bowling, swimming, and eating out.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A clean driving licence (although not essential).
  • Permission to work in the UK at the time of starting employment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £31,320 per annum, pro rata (£16.00 per hour). We offer a competitive package, including flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
