Compassionate Support Worker

About the RoleThis role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, whether it's helping them with daily tasks, assisting with medication, or simply being a listening ear. Our Care Assistants play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the support they need to maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Providing personal care and support to customers in their own homes
- Assisting with daily tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, and household chores
- Prompting customers with medication and supporting them with their prescribed treatment plans
- Supporting customers with daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Respite services for carers and families
- Socialising and leisure activities, such as accompanying customers on outings or engaging in hobbies and interests
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with our customers. You should be able to work independently, using your initiative and common sense to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
You will require:
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- A willingness to undergo training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
