Job Overview

At IBIS, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking and managing various general maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake routine inspections of premises and equipment, identifying potential issues and implementing repairs and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems as needed, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Liaise with and supervise contractors and external providers to carry out work activities, ensuring compliance with service agreements and procedures.
  • Assist in record-keeping and maintain a daily log of repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment.
  • Champion the Hotel's commitments to environmental sustainability, adhering to Accor's Legionnaires' disease directive and enforcing safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in a maintenance role, with a strong understanding of English written and verbal communication.
  • Able to work alone and unsupervised, with the ability to work from heights and take responsibility for identifying areas of improvement within range of operation.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach and creative thinking.
