Job Title: Traffic Light Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Traffic Light Maintenance Technician to join our team at HB People Recruitment & HR Specialists. As a Mobile Traffic Light Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and removing temporary traffic lights while working to the highest level of Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and remove temporary traffic lights
  • Maintain and service all traffic light equipment
  • Repair and exchange batteries (23kg per battery) on-site and off-site
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed to the company's standards and abide by the company's rules and regulations, including COSHH, Health and Safety, and quality assurance

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license is essential (B&E would be an advantage) as you will have a small company van/truck to enable you to do your work
  • A previous role in maintaining or operating temporary traffic systems would be an advantage but not essential as we can train you
  • A previous electrical background would be beneficial, however, full training is provided
  • The training is split into Three levels and is linked to pay

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with good organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work towards deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Overtime and rotational on-call cover are involved with the position. You must have the right to work in the UK and we will complete a driving license background check on your initial call if selected.
